An Official meeting took place on Wednesday 24th May 2023, between Afghanistan’s All Martial Arts Federation, the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, and the Country’s Mixed Martial Arts Organizations. This Meeting was organized by the Executive Committee of Afghanistan’s All Martial Arts Federation regarding the current situation of Mixed Martial Arts organizations in the Country. It was decided to bring All the Mixed Martial Arts organizations under the supervision of Afghanistan’s All Martial Arts Federation and make them a legal and registered body and permit them to organize their events legally in Afghanistan.
The General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports is the only governing body for sports in the Country and all Sports activities must be supervised by the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of Afghanistan.
